Parent Drop Off / Pick Up 

2020-2021

DROP OFF

EARLY drop off begins at 7:45 AM. If your children are dropped off at this time, they will be taken to the cafeteria to wait for classrooms to open at 8:00. This does expose them to students not in their regular classroom cohort. However, social distancing will be maintained.

REGULAR drop off begins at 8:00 AM. If your children walk to school, please wait until the signal is given to enter the school at 8:00. Both you and your children should maintain social distancing and wear a mask while on school property. 

If you are driving your child to school, you should pull into the parent loop in front of the school. When it is your turn, approach the curb, and drop your child off. Please avoid holding up the flow of traffic or parking. There will be elementary staff on hand to help children find their way to their classrooms.

After 8:10 AM, students will be marked tardy.

PICK UP

Students in grades K-3 must be signed out in the elementary cafeteria. Unfortunately, we are not able to do this until after the buses leave campus. If you wait until about 2:40, you will be able to pull into the parking lot area closest to the school, once buses pull out. 

Please be sure to wear a mask and practice social distancing while on campus.

Once students reach fourth or fifth grade and are ready for more independence, we no longer require parents to sign students out for daily pick up. Instead, students are walked up to the front door of the Parent Turnaround. 

Once at this location, they may walk home, ride a bike home, or be picked up by a parent waiting in a car. However, we do need a form indicating you have given permission for this to occur. This form must be updated yearly and will be sent home the first day of school.
